Mr.Jin Ren Qing Chinese Finance Minister was awarded "Finance Minister
of the Year" in Asia accolade in its annual awards for Finance Ministers
and Central Bank Governors.
Mr.Jin was noted for his announcement to narrow the government's fiscal deficit to a neutral level this year, neither constrictive nor expansionary.The Banker awards finance minister Jin Ren Qing its Finance Minister of the Year for Asia award, in recognition of various measures aimed at controlling lending, particularly on construction projects, cutting back on low-priority plans and ensuring a reduction in over-investment.

（本网站消息）英国伦敦《银行家》杂志今年第一期披露，中国财政部长金人庆被该杂志评为2004年度亚洲“年度财政部长”。《银行家》杂志是英国伦敦《金融时报》（Financial Times）集团出版的一本银行金融业专业杂志，创刊至今已经发行79年。
《银行家》杂志每年在世界范围内评出杰出的财政部长和央行行长，授予“年度财政部长”的称号。
